Another update from Shane

Hello!! We Just finished Climbing Killamanjaro and are stuck waiting for are ride. We Wandered into a Tanzania/Kenya bourder town and found an internet cafe. The Mountain is amazing. Its so diverse, each day was a different climate zone. We started the hike at 80 degrees and summited at a wind chill of minus 20. We all made it to the summit, but almost everyone got some degree of altitude sickness. Puking along the way was just a normal thing. You felt like a real wimp, when the porters would pass you up on the trail with a 50 pound pack balanced on their head. Headed back to Mombasa on the coast today. Flight for amsterdam tommorow. Cant wait to see everyone. Shane.

Received an e-mail from Shane and thought I would post it for everyone to see.

Helllo! We just got back from Matumbi and now have access to the internet again. The village was about 100 kilometers out in the bush, so we had no electricity or running water. We head for kilamanjaro tommorow. It was a great week in Matumbi, and the people were amazing. We are a little tired and dirty after a week of no showers, and the africa dirt. Thanks. Ill check in when we get off the mountain in 5 days. Shane.
